Pignotti, a senior, sandwiched a pair of scoring runs around a touchdown catch as the Lancers improved to 3-4 (2-3 MCC). "Overall, we are starting to play better," St. Joseph coach Jim Kenesie said. "He set the tone early."St. Joseph started pulling away in the second quarter thanks to an 11-yard TD pass from Luke Olson to Pignotti and a 5-yard run by Pignotti. The Lancers' final score of the quarter was set up by Dylan Fout's interception.Dom Tirbassi scored on a 2-yard run in the third quarter and Ian Neville's 11-yard run in the fourth quarter capped the scoring.
The Lancers play their final home game of the season Friday night at 7pm at Ameche Field against St. Cats.
